Painting and staining old furniture is one of many hobbies of mine. I love to use a combination of milk paint or Fusion mineral paint and gel stain on sideboards/dressers and different types of tables. Here are some of the pretty refinished furniture pieces I have restored:

Vintage design and modern farmhouse strike a perfect balance with this redone solid wood coffee table. The hexagonal sunburst top has been sanded to bare wood, washed with a warm tone to compliment the oak wood grain and top coated with a satin finish high quality polyurethane. A soft almost black has been applied to the gorgeous baluster legs, a warm tone on the handwoven cane and wax on the entire base for added protection and a soft satin sheen.
