I’m a small town Canadian (now slightly bigger city!) work from home freelance artist, who loves using my creative skills to make beautiful designs. Some of my absolute favourite things are my three boys, a piping hot cup of tea, kittens, and curling up with a good book.
My life has been filled with art and design since I was little. Making new creations or breathing life into old things has always brought me joy. As a teenager, I painted every possible surface in my little downstairs bedroom. A huge mural covered one wall, my dresser was transformed into an aquarium, a fun modern pattern adorned a table, and even my bed frame was painted a bold yellow with detailed Winnie the Pooh characters on the head and foot.
As an adult, not much has changed (except maybe more mature decorating themes!!). I’ve also added formal education to refine my art and design skills. I took Fine Art in college and have completed web and graphic design courses. And I still love making and finding beautiful things for others and for my own enjoyment.
